We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to support a nonprofit organization in Clarkston, Michigan. This Contract position focuses on maintaining accurate case information, organizing digital records, and ensuring key data points are entered consistently across a high volume of files. The ideal candidate brings strong typing skills, precision, and the ability to manage routine updates efficiently while working with sensitive information.
Responsibilities:
• Review and update client demographic details to keep records accurate and current.
• Maintain guardianship information by entering revisions and confirming changes when needed.
• Upload assessment-related files into the appropriate record system with careful attention to document accuracy.
• Enter important document dates directly into case records to support complete file maintenance.
• Record designated scoring information accurately within the database.
• Perform comprehensive updates across a large set of existing records while meeting quality expectations.
• Manage ongoing changes to active cases and apply intermittent updates as information is revised.
• Verify entered information for completeness and consistency to reduce errors and maintain reliable data integrity.
• At least 1 year of experience in data entry or a similar administrative support role.
• Strong keyboarding and typing ability with a high level of accuracy.
• Experience entering numeric and text-based information into computer systems.
• Comfort working with large volumes of records while maintaining close attention to detail.
• Ability to organize digital documents and keep electronic files up to date.
• Proficiency with standard computer applications and database-style record systems.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
