THE WORK

In support of the Sikorsky Line of Business and Connecticut Facilities, oversee the management of the Customer Center and perform a variety of activities in support of its operation, as well as Facilities-related planning and coordination.
Customer Center activities include support of onsite events involving room and parking reservation, form and visitor signage preparation, conference and meeting room readiness, customer event and tour preparation and meal coordination. Provide liaison with Facilities, IT, Security, Operations, and Protocol team members to ensure high-level visit actions and AV requirements are fully supported.
Facilities planning and coordination activities include procurement of supplies, signage, and nameplates, utilization of LM Buildings for hoteling reservations and data collection, creating Facilities Work Requests for maintenance issues, and providing support for project management.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with two years of related experience or Associates degree with four years of related experience or training in a related discipline with five to eight years of related experience
  • Ability to communicate and coordinate with all stakeholders to ensure event plans are finalized
  • Experience managing oversight and/or preparation of reports, event calendars, visitor information, and other related documents
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams


Desired Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of SAP for creating and tracking Purchase Requests and Purchase Orders preferred
  • Basic knowledge of LM Buildings for creating and tracking Facilities Work Requests, hoteling bookings, and project status preferred
  • Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with high-level management, customers and employees
  • A team player who is willing to work in a creative, fast-paced atmosphere
  • Strong adaptability skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities

Ability to Work Remotely:

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position:

4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week
