Position: Coordinator for Indigenous Engagement Initiatives
Become an integral part of the University of Calgary as an Executive Assistant focused on Indigenous Engagement. This role supports strategic governance and proactive community relations.

As the Executive Assistant to the Vice-Provost (Indigenous Engagement), you will facilitate administrative tasks, project coordination, and strategic engagement activities. You play a prominent role in advancing institutional priorities that promote equity and Indigenous learning opportunities. Your expertise will help advance the important work of fostering Indigenous relationships and reconciliation efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate executive communications and travel arrangements

• Prepare briefs, correspondence, and meeting materials

• Monitor timelines and deliverables for strategic projects

• Serve as a liaison with diverse Indigenous communities

• Ensure culturally responsive engagement for initiatives

Requirements:

• Relevant degree or diploma, with preference for university degree

• At least 5 years of executive support experience

• 3 years of coordination experience in a similar setting

• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

• Knowledge of Indigenous cultural protocols and practices
