Role Overview:

The Clinical Research Assistant provides essential assistance to Clinical Research Coordinators (CRCs) in achieving protocol-specific study objectives while ensuring compliance with ICH, GCP, and site policies. Proficiency in English and Spanish is required, and experience in psychology is preferred.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Maintain patient charts for assigned studies.
  • Support CRCs with clerical tasks like scheduling and document handling.
  • File lab results and other communications in patient charts.
  • Manage inventory of study supplies.
  • Complete data entry and resolve queries for case report forms within established timelines.
  • Assist in assessments, e.g., blood pressure, urine collection.
  • Communicate with participants, caregivers, and sponsors as needed.
  • Facilitate monitoring visits and complete assigned duties.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Medical Assistant or higher
  • Experience in psychiatry or neuroscience research (preferred)
  • Language Proficiency: Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (required).
  • Technical Skills: Proficient computer skills and familiarity with electronic equipment.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong organizational, time management, and documentation skills, with excellent communication abilities and patient interaction experience.
  • Collaborative Spirit: Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

  • Skills Preferred phlebotomy experience.

Pay: $24.00 – $26.00 per hour
