Clinic Assistant/Medical Receptionist
We are a busy, private Podiatry clinic looking for a part-time clinic assistant to join our small team. The position is Tuesday-Thursday from 10am to 3:00pm, with the ability to fill in as needed. We are looking for someone who is a team player with positive attitude, someone who thrives in routine oriented work setting, willing to serve people who are in need.
Job Duties:
Exam room preparation between patients
Maintaining an efficient patient flow based on clinic needs and practices
Answering telephone calls, scheduling appointments and processing patient payments
Scanning documents to patient charts
E-faxing of patient consults to referring physicians
Light housekeeping duties
Adherence to clinic mission statement to get to know our patients and to treat them with kindness and respect
Other duties as assigned
This position will work under the direct supervision of our Physicians and the Office Manager. A good work ethic, basic knowledge of HIPAA rules, and the ability to work as part of a small team is a must. We are looking for someone to make a long-term commitment who is able to start ASAP.
