Role Summary

Assist clients with vehicle imports into the U.S. and Canada, ensuring full compliance with customs and government regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess vehicle admissibility and guide clients through import options.
  • Collect and review required photos and documents for accuracy and compliance.
  • Enter and manage data across various software systems, spreadsheets, and databases.
  • Prioritize workflow and respond promptly to client inquiries.
  • Consult with new clients on vehicle import/export processes.
  • Prepare ownership documents for title applications and submit notices of crossing to customs.
  • Prepare documentation for the Department of Transportation.
  • Enter billing and edmanifest data for accounting and carriers.
  • Determine correct tariff classifications and duty requirements.

Qualifications

  • Experience in an office environment communicating with clients, specifically, over the phone and online.
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure consistency and correctness of data entries and paperwork.
  • Skilled communicator with excellent oral and written communication skills, including typing, spelling and grammar
  • Effective time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple work demands.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with others in a professional, helpful and respectful manner.
  • Ability to work and contribute to a team environment as well as independently.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, Outlook, Teams, Spreadsheets).
