Open Door Group (ODG), a trailblazing non‑profit organization serving communities across Canada, is looking for a Client Service Administrator to join our team.
Salary: $26.27 to $27.99 per hour (Grid 5, Health Sciences Association Community Bargaining Agreement)
Status: Full‑Time, Permanent
Hours of Work: 36 hours per week
Location: This position will work at both our Kamloops offices: 795 Tranquille Road (North location) and 210‑450 Lansdowne Street (South location).
The Client Service Administrator is the primary point of contact for customers visiting and contacting Open Door Group centers. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer experience to a diverse clientele.
Key responsibilities include welcoming clients, directing them to services, responding to inquiries, supporting service applications, orienting clients to resources, managing data entry, maintaining resources information, scheduling appointments, and answering and directing incoming calls.
When operational needs arise, the administrator may provide backup for the Administrative Assistant.
What You Bring to the Role
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to foster positive relationships with diverse clients, resolve conflicts diplomatically, and remain composed under pressure.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with others.
- Ability to meet deadlines, manage varied tasks, and maintain quality client‑centered service under pressure.
- Proficiency in standard computer hardware and software, including Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat Pro, internet navigation, email communication, and document formatting.
Qualifications
- Grade 12.
- Office Administration Certificate.
- Non‑Violent Crisis Intervention Training (can be acquired after hire).
- Recent, related experience of one year, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Must pass a criminal background check.
