**Chiropractic Assistant** **Job Overview:**
Join our dynamic team as a Chiropractic Assistant, where you will play a crucial role in supporting our chiropractic practice. As a key member of our team, you will assist in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic.
**Duties:**
– Greet and welcome patients with a friendly and professional demeanor
– Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar efficiently – Assist chiropractors with patient examinations and treatments as needed
– Maintain accurate patient records and update electronic health record systems
– Handle administrative tasks such as billing, insurance verification, and processing payments – Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times **Skills:**
– Proficient in administrative tasks related to healthcare settings
– Familiarity with Chiropractic/medical receptionist duties
– Knowledge of chiropractic terminology and procedures
– Experience with electronic health record systems like Epic or similar platforms – Understanding of HIPAA regulations and compliance requirements
– Previous experience in a dental clinic or similar healthcare environment is a plus
– Familiarity with software such as Genesis and ChroTouch is advantageous
