We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Chiropractic Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly, verify their appointment details, and assist with check-in and check-out processes using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Vericle and other platforms.
- Manage appointment scheduling ensuring optimal patient flow
- Verify insurance coverage and benefits, including Medicare and HIPAA compliance
- Collect and process payments, maintain meticulous financial records, and handle collections with professionalism
- Answer multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette; provide patient service by addressing inquiries promptly and courteously
- Organize filing systems for medical records, manage electronic documentation review, and ensure compliance with health information management standards
Qualifications
- Strong computer skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review and data entry tasks
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment; typing skills including 10-key typing are beneficial
