JOB TITLE: Business Office Clerk

REPORTS TO: Controller


FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW: The Business Office Clerk is a qualified, versatile individual who will perform a variety of office functions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Maintains a clean and efficient office environment at all times
  • Performs duties independently and assists with tasks as needed
  • Maintains a positive and professional attitude at all times
  • Performs a variety of clerical tasks as needed
  • Receives, sorts, scans and delivers all mail received by the Agency
  • Is flexible to take on new clerical responsibilities as requested by management
  • Performs all duties in compliance with agency policies and procedures.
  • Adheres to all rules, regulations, code of ethics, guidelines and codes in federal, state and local laws, which are concerned with licensed and certified home health care


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School graduate, some college course work preferred.
  • Above average organizational skills required
  • Excellent administrative, communication, detail-oriented, organizational, and follow-up skills required.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software applications required, MS Word, MS Excel, and Outlook.

OSHA:

I-Position is considered to have opportunity for routine exposure to blood borne pathogens in the normal performance of job duties.

II- Position is considered to have occasional opportunity for exposure to blood borne pathogens in the normal performance of job duties.

III-Position is considered to have no occupational exposure to blood borne pathogens in the normal performance of job duties.
