A well-established real estate firm in West Orange, NJ is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant to join their team. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills who also enjoys working with numbers and interacting with clients and tenants.

We’re looking for someone organized, professional, and comfortable handling both bookkeeping tasks and day-to-day communication.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including AP and AR, reconciliations, and billing
  • Communicate with tenants and clients via phone and email
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to inquiries professionally
  • Maintain accurate financial and tenant records
  • Use Yardi and Quick Books for bookkeeping and property management tasks
  • Utilize Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) for reporting and daily work
  • Provide general administrative and office support as needed

Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working with numbers
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in Quick Books and Yardi preferred
  • Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple priorities
