An international trading company is seeking a Bilingual (Japanese/English) Sales Assistant join their team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This position is responsible for supporting general sales activities. A bachelor’s degree, 1-2 years of office work/customer service experience, and the ability to speak, read, and write Japanese is required. This is a full-time, in-person, non-exempt position with bonus and excellent benefits including 401K.
Bilingual Japanese/English Sales Assistant Duties:
-Track, manage, and follow up on incoming sales leads
-Handle inbound customer calls and route inquiries appropriately
-Provide phone support for parts inquiries and general customer assistance
-Schedule travel arrangements for sales staff
-Maintain and update sales reports and related documentation
-Coordinate trade show schedules, logistics, and preparation
-Assist with shipping coordination and related documentation
-Provide backup phone coverage and general office support as needed
-Perform other duties as assigned
Bilingual Japanese/English Sales Assistant Skills:
-Must have a bachelor’s degree
-Must be able to speak, read, and write Japanese
-Must have 1-2 years’ experience in sales support, customer service, or administrative support
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office
-Strong communication skills
-Excellent phone and customer service skills
Pay: Up to $56,000.00 per year
