In this vital role, you will manage front desk operations and provide exceptional customer service to visitors, clients, and staff. Your organizational skills will ensure smooth daily operations, creating a positive first impression and supporting the overall efficiency of our team. Detailed Responsibilities:
- Lead Qualification: Ask the right questions to new callers (e.g., Is it a leak? How old is the roof? Is it an insurance claim?) to make sure our sales team has the info they need before they arrive.
- Customer Hospitality: Greet every visitor (homeowners, adjusters, or vendors) with a smile and positive attitude. You set the tone for the entire office.
- Project Support: Assist the Office Coordinator with "Job Folders", CRM accurateness, office supply inventory—
- Office Stewardship: Work with the Coordinator to keep the reception area, kitchen, and restrooms "client-ready" at all times.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Professional Presence: You take pride in your appearance and your workspace.
- The "Construction Voice": You can be sweet to a grandmother calling about a leak, but firm and organized when talking to a busy crew lead.
- Tech Savvy: You don’t struggle with Google Calendar, Email, or basic data entry.
- Coachable: You’re ready to learn the roofing industry and grow with us.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks for basic bookkeeping tasks is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills; bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse clients and visitors HUGE PLUS
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong typing skills along with proofreading capabilities to ensure accuracy in all correspondence
