Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Back Office Employee role based in New York, NY. The Back Office Employee will support daily administrative operations, including managing data entry, maintaining records, and organizing documentation related to orders, inventory, and client accounts. Responsibilities include coordinating with sales and customer-facing teams, preparing and processing invoices, assisting with basic finance-related tasks, and tracking shipments and deliveries. The role will also involve responding to internal inquiries, updating systems and reports, and ensuring accurate and timely flow of information between departments. The Back Office Employee will collaborate closely with colleagues to support efficient showroom and warehouse operations and uphold PID FLOORS’ standard of service.

Qualifications

  • Strong Back Office Operations skills, including data entry, record keeping, and document management. ERP Dynamics
  • 60-75K salary range
  • Effective Communication and Customer Service skills to support internal teams and provide accurate information.
  • Basic Finance skills, such as invoice processing, payment tracking, and working with financial documents.
  • Comfort working with Sales teams, order processing, and supporting sales operations.
  • Proficiency with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office or Google Workspace) and ability to learn internal systems.
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks with deadlines.
  • Previous experience in administrative, back office, or operations roles preferred; experience in flooring, design, or related industries is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, administration, or a related field is a plus.
