Automotive Office Administrator / Accounting Assistant Jobs in Portland, OR at Optimize LLC

We are a growing independent car dealership looking for a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Office Administrator / Accounting Assistant to join our team. This position plays an important role in keeping daily dealership operations running smoothly and supporting our accounting processes.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, multitasking, and working with both paperwork and people.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
  • Posting payments and reconciling transactions
  • Preparing bank deposits and making regular bank runs
  • Filing and maintaining organized dealership records
  • Assisting with vehicle deal paperwork and title documentation
  • Answering phones and assisting customers as needed
  • Managing office supplies and general administrative tasks
  • Supporting management with reporting and data entry
  • Ensuring accuracy and organization in all office processes

Qualifications:

  • Prior bookkeeping, accounting, or office administration experience preferred
  • Experience with AP/AR required
  • Automotive dealership experience is a plus but not required
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Excel, quickbooks online a plus
  • Professional communication skills
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license for bank and office errands
  • Ability to work independently and stay on top of deadlines
