Assistant Community Manager Jobs in Raleigh at Elite Management Professionals

The Assistant Community Manager is responsible for assisting the Community Manager to help oversee one or more community associations. The Assistant Community Manager assists with responses to board member and homeowner inquiries. This person will assist to obtain contracts and proposals and handle administrative tasks.

Essential Functions:

  • Respond to Board and homeowner inquiries in a timely manner
  • Assist with obtaining contracts and proposals for community as directed by manager
  • Main support for phone and email correspondences
  • Coordinate and manage community mailings to homeowners
  • Community website administration and community communication
  • Assist with processing architectural and pool applications
  • Attend meetings as needed for Management
  • Processing of violation/ covenant violations via mail and email
  • Complete work order requests and follow up with owners and contractors throughout the process
  • Keep detailed task list for each community and follow up until completion
  • Communicate with manager during all tasks for priority, deadlines, and action item completion
  • Administrative support for the processing of work orders and communication with vendors and owners
  • Attendance and support for company events and evening meetings may be required

Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes:

  • Proven office management, administrative or assistant experience
  • Knowledge of office management responsibilities, systems, and procedures
  • Knowledge of Microsoft products and programs
  • High quality standards and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to organize and maintain records
  • Strong customer service, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated and positive approach, good organizational skills, ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines
  • Attendance and punctuality are mandatory
  • Ability to problem solve and maintain accuracy
  • Ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven, multi-priority environment; exhibit consistent usage of effective time management skills and appropriate resource management; communicate interferences and delays to supervisor.
  • Ability to use logical methods to solve problems while producing effective solutions; probes all appropriate resources for solutions; takes initiative to identify and improve systems and processes.

  • Working knowledge of mail processes such as postage machine, FedEx, and UPS

Physical Requirements:

  • Normal periods of sitting and standing in an office environment.
  • Extended periods of sitting at a workstation/desk in an office environment.
  • Lifting and/or pushing objects up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • Lifting and/or pushing objects up to 50 lbs. on an occasional basis.
  • Walking outdoors in potentially inclement weather conditions within the communities.

Working Conditions:

Work is mostly performed inside an office environment. Level of noise is usually moderate, and temperature is controlled in the office environment. Weather conditions will vary when completing outdoor tasks such as community walk-throughs. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,500.00 per year
