Why does the job exist?
This position provides highly professional administrative support to the Adult Psychiatric Division (APD) Director and to the Chief of Psychiatry.
How does it get done?
This position provides administrative support, including KRONOS (timekeeping) to the APD Psychology Supervisor, Social Work Supervisor, psychiatrists, psychologists and social workers. This position coordinates transportation for APD patients who are being discharged and have no other means of returning to their homes, as well as medical or legal appointments out of town. This position also serves as back-up for the Legal Services Secretary.

Ideal Candidate
The Ideal Candidate would have:
Experience in providing clerical services;
Experience in an office setting;
Experience with Microsoft Word;
Experience in customer services.
Minimum Qualification
No Prior Experience Or Training Required.

Must possess a valid Drivers License
Must obtain a Defensive Driving Certificate

- CRIMINAL RECORDS BACKGROUND CHECK-Must successfully complete post offer pre-employment criminal records background check. Employment is conditional pending the results of criminal records background checks. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license. Successful completion of the Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act (HIPAA).
Working Conditions
Work is performed in an office setting with exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT) and extensive personal computer and phone usage. Some sitting, standing, bending, and reaching may be required. Direct client interaction and some travel may be required.
