Position Summary
Assist with the facility’s inquiry and admission process, provide customers with facility related information and
conduct facility tours. Assists in the coordination and implementation of effective facility sales and marketing
programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Responds to inquiry calls form hospital discharge planners, families and other referral sources
2. Conducts facility tours
3. Coordinate the admissions process timely with appropriate follow-up
4. Coordinate the inquiry process timely with appropriate follow-up
5. Report and track occupancy levels and census mix; maintain and update the database of existing and
potential referral sources, as needed
6. Maintain and update all sales/referral tracking tools, as needed
7. Maintain a close working relationship with the CNO and Business Officer Manager to assure appropriate
and efficient decisions about prospective admissions
8. Follow the established protocol for admission denials
9. Coordinates admissions and any special resident needs with all necessary internal departments to ensure
smooth and professional admission
10. Process all appropriate admissions paperwork to ensure signatures, verification’s, authorizations, insurance
information and all other necessary documents are obtained from the resident or responsible parties prior to
admission
11. Maintain a working knowledge of Federal and State regulations and reimbursement
12. Maintain a strong working knowledge of managed care and referral processes
13. Responsible for insurance re-certification
14. Coordinate and complete customer admission packets within 48 hours of admission

WorkEnvironment
This job operates in a post-acute setting. This role requires regular walking to various locations around the facility.
This role also routinely comes into contact with patients who may have contagious illnesses. Team member is
expected to adhere to facility’s no-smoking policy.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very
active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day. The employee must frequently lift
and/or move items over 20 pounds.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a position in a post-acute setting that is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Weekend and holiday shifts
will be required.

HIPAA
Team members are required to adhere to policies and procedures implementing HIPAA requirements for the privacy
and security of protected health information. Team member are permitted to use and/or disclose only minimum
amount of Protected Health Information necessary to complete assigned tasks.
Reports all suspected violation of company’s HIPAA policies or procedures to facility CEO.

3. Proficient computer and Microsoft Application skills. Must have an ability to learn new systems

interpersonalskills
7. Must have strong organizational skills with attention to detail
8. Must be able to successfully prioritize workload, demonstrate initiative, and analyze situations to make
sound decisions based on available data
9. Ability to maintain a calm, professional demeanor under pressure
10. Self-directing with the ability to work with minimal direct supervision
RequiredEducation/Experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- A minimum of one (1) year experience in a clerical or similar role
PreferredEducation/Experience
- College/University Degree in a related field
- A minimum of one (1) year experience in a similar role in a healthcare setting
