Administrator/Receptionist Kennel Tech Jobs in Miami at Pet Squire
We are looking for a hybrid position 50% reception 50% kennel tech and working their way up to additional managerial role.
This job includes: giving tours, dealing with clients, answering phones, updating social media , training employees, including some kennel techs duties, pet sits or dog walks.
MUST have:
1- Previous customer service + receptionist experience (2+ years)
2- Be able to function INDEPENDENTLY; go getter/problem solver with a positive attitude.
3- Have OWN transportation
4- Have GREAT customer service and conflict resolution skills
5- Value and exhibit teamwork and leadership skills, with an ambition to grow in the company to a managerial role.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting to create and creating schedules for pet sitters, employees, groomers and transporters.
- Providing information on our services via Meet and Greets and executing Meet and Greets.
- Support manager in ensuring the proper hygiene, cleanliness and aesthetics of pet facility
- Support Manager with supervising and executing operations at the facility (disbursing medications, updating whiteboards and updating database/ reservation system).
- Supervise staff at pet facility including evaluating, training, mentoring and writing up employees where needed—supporting manager and also taking own initiative when needed.
- Greeting clients in reception area, checking in and checking out guests, contacting clients with necessary updates, sending client pictures, fulfilling client requests and answering client questions as needed.
- Supporting manager to maintain labor costs at a specific number/level
- Keeping inventory of supplies, shopping and restocking materials.
- Assisting to execute marketing initiatives with owner and administrator to build client database and revenue (sales calls, attend events, etc.)
- Be back up kennel attendant/ pet sitter/ dog walker when required/in case of emergency

Schedule:
2-4 days a week, depending on candidate and his/her schedule
Pay: $15.00 – $16.00 per hour
