We’re working with a well-established, family-run commercial vehicle and plant hire business based in West Malling, who are looking to bring in an organised and proactive Fleet Coordinator / Administrator. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role, taking ownership of scheduling, customer communication, and keeping operations running smoothly behind the scenes.
🔧 The Role
You’ll be right at the heart of the operation, helping to keep the fleet moving and customers looked after.
Day-to-day, you’ll be:
- The go-to contact for customers, booking in services and handling any queries
- Scheduling vehicle servicing, maintenance, and MOTs
- Liaising with workshops, engineers, and suppliers to make sure work is completed on time
- Keeping track of vehicle mileage and maintenance schedules
- Raising and managing job cards on the internal system
- Maintaining accurate records, including service history and driver information
- Supporting with breakdowns and repairs, helping minimise downtime
It’s a busy, hands-on role where no two days are quite the same.
✅ What We’re Looking For
- Around 3+ years’ experience in an admin or coordination role
- Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with customers
- Good attention to detail and a naturally organised approach
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office (full training provided on internal systems)
- Someone who enjoys being part of a close-knit, team-focused environment
💰 Package
- £30,000 – £35,000 salary (depending on experience)
- 21 days annual leave + bank holidays
