SUMMARY:

Job Title: Administrator

Location: Durban North

Job Purpose:

To provide efficient administrative and office support to ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the organisation. The Administrator will be responsible for managing office tasks, maintaining records, supporting staff, and ensuring excellent communication both internally and externally.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general administrative duties including filing, data capturing, and document management
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence in a professional manner
  • Maintain and update records, databases, and filing systems
  • Assist with scheduling meetings, calendar management, and travel arrangements
  • Provide reception and customer service support when required
  • Process basic financial/admin tasks using systems such as Sage Evolution (SAP advantageous)
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation as needed
  • Order and manage office supplies
  • Support various departments with administrative requirements
  • Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information at all times

Minimum Requirements:

Education:

  • Grade 12 (Matric) – essential
  • Diploma or Certificate in Office Administration, Business Administration, Management, or Bookkeeping – advantageous

Experience:

  • 1–3 years’ experience in an administrative or office support role
  • Experience in customer service or reception duties beneficial
  • Experience with Sage Evolution and/or SAP advantageous

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Strong data capturing and record-keeping ability
  • Email and calendar management
