Position Summary

This recruitment will be used to fill two (2) part‑time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) Administrative Senior Residential Conference Assistant for the Residential Conferences Management (RCM) at Oregon State University (OSU). The purpose of this position is to assist the RCM with all administrative aspects of the summer conference program.

ASRCAs support the RCM by handling administrative tasks related to the planning, preparation, and execution of conferences throughout the year. Responsibilities will encompass attending weekly staff meetings, upkeeping conference documents, leading and scheduling follow‑up meetings, providing miscellaneous support for the RCM, and offering feedback and suggestions for refining operational processes.

ASRCAs report to the Residential Conferences Management team and work up to 20/24 hours per week during Spring Term and 40 hours a week during the Summer.

  • Direct and prioritize daily Residential Conferences teamwork and projects according to conference and guest needs. Ensure the successful operation of the conference halls.
  • Foster a team environment with the SRCAs and RCAs.
  • Assist RCM in maintaining daily task log and prioritize tasks for the RCA team.
