Pickerington Local School District (PLSD) is seeking qualified candidates for consideration of employment for an Administrative Secretary – Technology Department position.

This is a 12-month position.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalency
  • Previous secretarial office experience required with successful skills in creating and managing multiple projects
  • Expert-user skill-level in creation and use of databases, spreadsheets, word processing and the full range of Microsoft Office Suite products, data entry and records management
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills both orally and in written communication
  • Experience with a wide range of office equipment
  • Typing speed of at least 40 wpm with accuracy and proper use of grammar
  • Must be able to maintain and respect confidential information and situations
  • Must be flexible and adaptable to changing situations
  • Must be able to assist supervisor in creating a safe, positive and confidential working environment
  • Must work well with students, staff, community members and parents of diverse populations.
