Administrative Operations & Customer Support Coordinator

A growing manufacturing company and e-commerce seller is seeking an organized, motivated, and adaptable team member to support daily administrative operations, customer service, order processing, inventory coordination, and shipping activities across multiple areas of the business.

This position plays an important role in supporting MRP Manufacturing’s automotive e-commerce, and utility tooling product lines by helping ensure orders, inventory, customer communication, and internal operations run smoothly and efficiently.

This role works closely with ownership, production, engineering, shipping, and customers to support efficient daily operations across the company.

Primary ResponsibilitiesAdministrative & Operations Support

  • Process customer orders and work orders
  • Enter and manage orders in Fishbowl Inventory Software
  • Assist with internal paperwork, documentation, and operational coordination
  • Monitor office, shipping, and operational supply inventory and assist with purchasing.
  • Assist with incoming shipments and general office coordination
  • Assist with operational data entry and basic accounting-related administrative tasks

Customer Service & Communication

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, website, eBay, and social media
  • Provide professional customer support and follow-up
  • Answer and route incoming phone calls and messages
  • Support day-to-day front office communication
  • Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds

Shipping, Fulfillment & Inventory

  • Pick, prep, package, and label outgoing orders
  • Ship orders using web-based shipping platforms
  • Maintain accurate inventory in Fishbowl software
  • Receive and organize incoming inventory and materials
  • Assist with yearly inventory counts and spot audits

Website, E-Commerce & Marketing Support

  • Maintain eBay and website product listings
  • Upload product photos and descriptions
  • Assist with website banners, imagery, and newsletters
  • Create and schedule Facebook and Instagram posts
  • Support general marketing and branding efforts

Manufacturing & Vendor Coordination

  • Assist with manufacturing orders and purchase orders
  • Coordinate outside vendor work and deliveries
  • Support production preparation and contract work coordination

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Comfortable learning and using multiple computer systems and web-based platforms
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and shifting priorities
  • Self-motivated with willingness to learn and grow
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a small team environment

Preferred but Not Required

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, Fishbowl or other Inventory Software, ShipStation, or eBay
  • Inventory or stockroom experience
  • Manufacturing or small business experience
  • Administrative or customer service background

Additional Information

  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Full-time, on-site position
  • Pay commensurate with experience and skillset

Pay: $28.00 – $34.00 per hour
