Position Description

We are seeking a friendly, professional, and highly organized Administrative Coordinator to support our Houston headquarters. This role serves as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, vendors, and callers, helping create a welcoming and positive experience for everyone who interacts with BRG.

The ideal candidate genuinely enjoys working with people, takes pride in providing excellent customer service, and is willing to jump in wherever needed to help support the team. This position requires flexibility, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a positive attitude. While the role will initially be part-time, there is an opportunity for the right candidate to transition into a full-time position and grow within the company.

This role will work closely with company leadership and staff to support daily office operations, administrative functions, and general office organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Screen and route calls to the appropriate team members.
  • Welcome guests, clients, vendors, and visitors to the office.
  • Notify employees of visitor arrivals and assist with guest accommodations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
  • Prepare coffee and ensure beverages and supplies are available for employees and guests.
  • Keep the breakroom stocked, organized, and tidy throughout the day.
  • Assist with incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and packages.
  • Order and maintain office, kitchen, and breakroom supplies.
  • Support various administrative and operational tasks as needed.
  • Coordinate with team members to assist with office events, meetings, and special projects.
  • Help maintain a professional and positive office environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a receptionist, administrative assistant, customer service, hospitality, or office support role preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine enjoyment of working with people.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities throughout the day.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated.
  • Flexible and willing to assist with a variety of responsibilities as business needs evolve.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
