Job Summary
This position is responsible for providing administrative and office support for a department. This position generally reports to a manager and/or a director of a single department. Duties may include answering the telephone, fielding calls, greeting and directing customers in a professional manner, and a wide variety of general office duties as needed. This position requires basic PC skills for completing special and routine supply orders, preparing check requests, orienting new employees to clerical responsibilities, processing employee payroll records, and completing special projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Require one (1) year of general office/administrative experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Prefer some business courses or college.
Prefer computer competency for basic Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
Prefer the ability to use the Internet and intranet.
Prefer the ability to communicate in a professional manner both verbally and in writing.
Prefer the ability to coordinate a multitude of tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Prefer the ability to work independently and shift priorities with flexibility.
Prefer the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
