Administrative Assistant-Expedited Orders Jobs in Saint Marys at CUSTOM WOOD PRODUCTS

The Administrative Assistant (Expedited Orders) is responsible for the coordination of projects, remakes, and fulfillment of customer service needs to ensure customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include processing orders, preparing correspondence and communicating with the shop as needed for project completion.

Essential Functions:
  • Assists internal and external customers over the phone, via email and occasionally in-person.
  • Provides exceptional service by listening to customer, identifying and assessing customers’ needs and working to achieve customer satisfaction by addressing needs.
  • Coordinates and processes expedited requests (i.e. brochures, service calls, samples, remakes add-ons, etc.).
  • Answers questions regarding warranties and terms of sale.
  • Recommends potential products or services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs.
  • Receives customer complaints and assists in de-escalating the customer, while also identifying appropriate solutions to resolve customer issues.
  • Builds sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication.
  • Provides accurate, valid and complete information by using our preferred methods and tools.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • HS Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Effective communication skills (verbally and written)
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong competency in MS Office Suite with ability to learn other software as needed
  • Knowledge of Custom Wood Products and manufacturing preferred
  • Excellent follow-up and follow through abilities
  • Effective time management skills with ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail with high accuracy in work
