Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support to claims handlers, including data entry, documentation management, and preparation of responses for review
- Ensure claims information is processed accurately and in a timely manner
- Manage claim-related records and maintain organized documentation
- Communicate professionally with claimants when needed to gather or confirm information
- Collaborate with team members to support overall claims operations and departmental projects
- Adapt to shifting priorities while maintaining high productivity and attention to detail
Qualifications
- Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and internal software
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume workloads
- Comfortable multitasking and adjusting priorities as needed
- Professional phone presence
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred
