What is the opportunity?
This position will support two Vice Presidents in the day-to-day running of the market by completing administrative duties including organizing and managing correspondence, calendar, reporting, and the market office. You may also participate in scheduled meetings for transcription purposes.
What will you do?
- Supporting two Vice Presidents
- Calendar Management – Maintain the appointment diary of the Vice Presidents ensuring all related materials and/or background information are provided in advance of meetings.
- Prepare various forms of communication
- Maintain correspondence files and circulate materials as required
- Control expenses and certain reporting requirements
- Manage office administration related to VP specific needs
- Support client and employee event planning
- Support with client concerns
What do you need to succeed? Must‑have
- Prior Administrative Assistant experience considered an asset
- Consistently demonstrate the highest level of professionalism and judgment and problem resolution skills
- Recognize and prioritize critical situations and act to resolve independently in a confidential manner
- Be able to act decisively in the absence of the Regional Vice President
- Multi‑task in a calm and equitable manner and be a self‑starter – take initiative and work independently
- Be a team player
- Well organized with strong attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal / communication skills
- Takes an interest in and is an advocate of the business strategy
- In‑depth knowledge of PC software programs such as Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Nice‑to‑have
- Knowledge of Banking / Financial industry preferred
