THE REGIONAL OFFICE IS LOCATED IN HANOVER, MD, WITH POSITION LOCATED IN WASHINGTON, DC. RATE OF PAY IS $25 – $32 AN HOUR. PREFENCE GIVEN TO THOSE WITH JOB SITE AND CONSTRUCTION COMPANY EXPERIENCE.

THE OPPORTUNITY: Administrative Assistant / Receptionist

Immediate opening for a Receptionist with Administrative, document control and light Accounts Payable duties. Previous Construction Company experience preferred.

PAY RATE: $25 – $32/ HR FOR ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT / RECEPTIONIST

Job Requirements:

  • Bilingual – English / Spanish (preferred)
  • Experience with Construction Company preferred
  • Past experience with document control

Must have 3 years’ experience in combination of any of the following:

  • Greet all office visitors and initiate proper contacts.
  • Process paperwork in support of office operations.
  • Organizing documents that are both electronic and hard copy.
  • Working with craft supervisors to obtain and record working hours for various personnel.
  • Ability to transpose information from handwritten memos into MS Excel.
  • Must have professional discretion to handle corporate sensitive information.
  • Must be able to clearly communicate through written and spoken correspondence.
  • Provides administrative support for supervision as required
  • Other duties as assigned to help Project Management personnel with fulfillment of their obligations.
  • Potential for advancement in assisting the overall company with labor recruitment.
  • Preform functions in support of Finance department including:

· Printing invoices through accounts payable email

· Checking vendor statements for accuracy

· Contact vendors for various credit memos and invoices

· Receive quotes and write Purchase Orders for field material

Additional requirements:

  • Documented training or school in clerical, office administration or similar
  • Experience as a receptionist with a similar duty description
  • Must be willing to work independently and be able to take direction and RETAIN that training.
  • Must have dependable transportation
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screening
  • Dedicated, self-motivated, with professional verbal and people skills
  • Maintain the ethics and professionalism of The Bell Company in the execution of the duties and responsibilities of the position.
  • Good oral and written communication skills. Ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
