Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.

Duties

  • Perform general clerical duties, including filing, data entry, and document management
  • Answer and direct phone calls with professionalism and courtesy
  • Maintain organized filing systems for easy retrieval of information
  • Utilize Microsoft Office and PDF editor to create and edit forms. Using Gmail platform to send correspondences.
  • Since its a construction business most of the task also involves contacting construction suppliers and manufacturers, and contractors to request price quotes. Follow up as needed.
  • Assist in scheduling appointments and managing calendars for team members
  • Support various administrative tasks as assigned by supervisors or management

Experience

  • Previous experience in a construction office environment or as a personal assistant is preferred
  • Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Google Suite and other Microsoft Office applications, QuickBooks data entry and reconciliation.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information
  • Multitasking

Pay: $17.00 – $18.00 per hour
