Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
Duties
- Perform general clerical duties, including filing, data entry, and document management
- Answer and direct phone calls with professionalism and courtesy
- Maintain organized filing systems for easy retrieval of information
- Utilize Microsoft Office and PDF editor to create and edit forms. Using Gmail platform to send correspondences.
- Since its a construction business most of the task also involves contacting construction suppliers and manufacturers, and contractors to request price quotes. Follow up as needed.
- Assist in scheduling appointments and managing calendars for team members
- Support various administrative tasks as assigned by supervisors or management
Experience
- Previous experience in a construction office environment or as a personal assistant is preferred
- Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Google Suite and other Microsoft Office applications, QuickBooks data entry and reconciliation.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information
- Multitasking
Pay: $17.00 – $18.00 per hour
