for the office of STUDENT AFFAIRS

Lansdale Catholic High School is seeking a mature and upbeat professional who will support our administration, staff, faculty, students, and families. The highly ethical and experienced team-player should possess a strong sense of integrity and desire to support all of the efforts of the Student Affairs Office.

Reporting directly to the Assistant Principal, Student Affairs (APSA) and Director of Guidance this person will be responsible for the daily operation of the office and planning and implementation of activities and events at Lansdale Catholic.

This is a full-time, 10-month position.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate bus transportation for all students, field trips and activities.
  • Monitor and procure general office supplies.
  • Manage the staff and student ID badge system.
  • Manage the Google calendar for the school website and reserving spaces for activities, including the cafeteria, classrooms, and student resource center.
  • Coordinate the use of gym space with the athletic director.
  • Assist with the coordination of the school photographer at school events
  • Assist with bell schedules, seating charts, and the school calendar.
  • Assist with the sale of event tickets, yearbooks and other products, and reconcile the revenue from these sales.
  • Assist with all offices in the building
  • Create call slips for students.
  • Update student information and college promotional pieces.
  • Process college, scholarship and other program applications.
  • Create and manage forms relating to the Guidance Office, including graduate and undergraduate transcripts.
  • Interact with vendors, contractors and professional services personnel to receive orders, direct activities and communicate instructions.
  • Coordinate and schedule college representative visits.
  • Perform general office duties, including answering multi-line phones, routing telephone calls or messages to appropriate staff and greeting visitors.
  • Keep detailed records of all events and transactions using Google and Microsoft.
  • Design and print booklets for all events.
  • Keep detailed records of all transactions and purchases in Turbine.
  • Help keep display cases up-to-date throughout the year for all seasons and holidays.
  • Assist APSA and/or Director of Guidance at all events, including evenings and weekends.
  • Responsible for being knowledgeable and to implement the mission of Lansdale Catholic HS.
  • Maintain a good working relationship with Administration, Faculty, and Staff, as well as, the students and families of Lansdale Catholic HS.
  • Stay up-to-date on current school happenings and the school calendar in order to answer any questions that might arise, and to share the appropriate information when needed.
  • Maintain and operate Naviance, NCAA Clearinghouse, and College Board platforms and databases

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in customer service or as an administrative assistant.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, work efficiently, juggle tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines, and achieve goals. Strong motivation skills
  • Ability to work productively and positively with staff, alumni, and community
  • Must be flexible and able to handle constant interruptions, and be open to helping other offices as needed.
  • Willing to work at school events in the evening and on weekends.

PA required clearances and Safe Environment certifications and official transcripts will be required before employment can begin.

Applicants must provide a letter of recommendation from the pastor of the parish in which the applicant is registered.
