• Answer phone calls and respond to emails promptly and courteously

• Schedule appointments and maintain advisers’ and office calendars

• Organise and maintain client files, both physical and digital

• Update and maintain case records in our practice management system

• Prepare correspondence, documents, and case-related paperwork

• Assist with data entry and accurate record-keeping

• Handle day-to-day office administration, including mail and supplies

• Liaise closely with our immigration advisers to ensure clients receive timely, professional support throughout their case journey

• Strong administrative and organisational skills, with experience in scheduling, filing, and document management

• Confident use of office software (Word, Excel, email) and case management/CRM systems

• Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills

• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly in data entry and document preparation

• Ability to manage competing priorities independently and as part of a team in a busy office

• Discretion and an unwavering commitment to client confidentiality

• Experience in a legal or professional services setting is a plus — particularly within immigration or asylum law

• Relevant qualifications in law,

business administration or a related field are preferred but not essential

Why Join Hanson Law

• Be part of meaningful work that directly supports vulnerable individuals and families

• Join a close-knit, supportive team that values respect and collaboration

• Develop specialist knowledge of immigration and asylum law in a hands-on environment

• Work in a firm that genuinely lives its values of integrity and client advocacy
