Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations, especially during the busy tax season. This role is critical in ensuring smooth workflow, excellent client communication, and efficient administrative support for our accounting team.

Duties

  • Answer and direct phone calls in a professional manner
  • Greet and assist clients in person and via email
  • Schedule appointments and manage calendars
  • Organize and maintain client files (physical and digital)
  • Assist with tax return processing, assembly and delivery
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail
  • Perform data entry and general administrative tasks
  • Support staff with various projects as needed
  • Pick up and deliver documents to and from client locations as needed

Requirements

  • Previous administrative or office experience (accounting firm experience a plus)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
  • During Tax Season (January 15th through April 15th) work hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 6:00pm and Saturdays, 8:00am to 12:00pm

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
