Position: Admin Support 09
Provides full administrative support to the Manager of Acute Mental Health R1 and Concurrent Disorders M1. Specific responsibilities include: providing support around managerial responsibilities related to human resources; labour relations; recruitment/hiring/disciplinary/retention processes; payroll completion; complaints management; meeting coordination i.e. scheduling and minute taking; statistics completion; record keeping; supply ordering; and overseeing of regular day-to-day office functions. Provides support to the Educator, Flow Manager and Charge Nurses from R1 and M1.
Coordinates agendas, scheduling meetings; taking minutes for numerous standing committee meetings; and other duties as assigned. Excellence in customer service is essential. Must have ability to work independently and also as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Grade 12 diploma plus 2 year post-secondary diploma in office administration or medical office administration
- Successful completion of Medical Terminology Certificate required
- Knowledge of various union collective agreements
- Intermediate skill level required in MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint
- Intermediate skill level for typing speed / accuracy
- Clerical testing may be required as part of the selection process
- Computer software;
