About The Role
We are seeking a reliable and organized Admin Assistant to support the daily operations of our laboratory in Khoemacau, Botswana. This role plays an important part in maintaining efficient administrative systems while supporting laboratory staff with operational tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize laboratory documentation including sample submission forms, purchase records, and expense documents.
- Assist with capturing sample information into the laboratory LIMS system.
- Support stock control by recording and reporting usage of consumables and office supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in offices, sample preparation areas, and shared laboratory spaces.
- Ensure cleaning materials and supplies are available and properly stored.
- Assist laboratory staff with cleaning sample trays, preparation equipment, and machinery when required.
- Provide general administrative and operational support to the laboratory team.
- Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the Laboratory Manager.

- Follow all Quality System Procedures.
- Ensure activities align with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 17025:2017 standards.
- Adhere to local legislative and company requirements.
Health, Safety & Environment
- Follow all company Health and Safety policies and procedures at all times.
Requirements
- Previous administrative experience (laboratory or technical environment preferred).
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn laboratory systems (LIMS).
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a structured environment.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
