Chenega Government Mission Solutions, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services company, is looking for an Acquisition Specialist in support of Indian Health Services in Claremore, OK. The Acquisition Specialist will provide administrative support to contracting officers, contracts specialists, closeouts specialists, and contracting officer’s representatives. Responsibilities include patient management, personnel management, fiscal management, official communications, travel, and program documentation, as well as training and health promotion activities.

Responsibilities
Manage the Acquisitions Program through routine administrative, clerical, and secretarial duties, relieving contracting officers of routine tasks.
Handle telephone inquiries, ensuring confidentiality of privileged information.
Prepare requisitions for stock issue items, communicate with vendors, and maintain purchase order records.
Operate a computerized word processor to maintain documents related to quality assurance, contracts, safety, infection control, reports, and technical papers, including editing for spelling, grammar, and clarity.
Assist in preparing studies, correspondence, reviews, planning, and conference preparations.
Keep the supervisor informed about administrative matters and special reports.
Draft routine correspondence, maintain office files, and retrieve requested materials.
Prepare documents for training and travel, including travel authorizations, vouchers, and reservations.
Develop training priorities, make administrative arrangements, and record minutes of meetings.
Prepare requisitions for office supplies and manage related administrative tasks.
Qualifications
High School Diploma; associate’s degree preferred.
3-5 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Punctuality and reliability.
Professional demeanor acceptable to patients, visitors, and staff.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
