Looking for dedicated Accounts Payable / Accounting Clerk

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Accounts Payable / Accounting Clerk to join our dynamic finance team. In this vital role, you will manage the company’s accounts payable processes, ensure accurate data entry, and support various accounting functions. Your proactive approach and strong understanding of financial concepts will help maintain the integrity of our financial records and streamline payment workflows. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your accounting skills within a collaborative environment that values precision, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
  • Accounts Payable – review invoices for accuracy. Enter invoices and process payments
  • Setup vendor folders and archive prior years.
  • Generate annual 1099’s
  • Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
  • Enter resident trust transactions in PointClickCare (PCC)
  • Prepare and send out quarterly resident trust statements in a timely fashion
  • Replenish resident trust cash box as needed
  • Upload documents into resident’s electronic record (PCC)
  • Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
  • Provide assistance and support to company personnel
  • Process Petty Cash transactions and replenish cash box as needed
  • Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws

Skills

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in dealing with resident trust accounts and account payable.
  • High School Graduate or equivalent.
  • Strong computer skills, in Excel & Word. Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) preferred.
  • Organize and attention to details

Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
