Job Summary

The Accounting Clerk will support our accounting operations through payment processing, reconciliations, and customer support. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate handling of checks, timely deposits, and resolution of customer inquiries related to payments and accounts.

Responsibilities:

· Process mail checks in accordance with company procedures and schedules

· Preform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations to ensure accuracy of accounting records

· Review and respond to customer tickets related to payments, billing, and account issues

· Research and resolve discrepancies related to payments or deposits

· Maintain organized and accurate documentation for all transactions

· Collaborate with internal teams to ensure payment issues are resolved efficiently

· Assist with additional accounting administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent required

· 2 years of experience in an accounting or finance support role preferred

· Experience handling checks, deposits, or payment processing is a plus

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

· Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

· Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Customer Service mindset with the ability to respond to customer inquiries professionally

Pay: $19.00 – $21.00 per hour
