Plateau is now accepting applications for an Accounting Clerk position at our Clovis, NM headquarters.
Duties will include general accounting activities in accordance with GAAP, with a primary emphasis on accounts payable tasks. The ability to work well with and without supervision, superior attention to detail, and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously are required. Hours of work are normally scheduled Monday through Friday, but some flexible scheduling may be required in order to meet deadlines and workload requirements. Knowledge of general accounting methods and principles, proficiency in Excel and other Windows-based accounting packages, an ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, and a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with others are also required. One to two years of previous experience in accounting or a related discipline is desired.
