Meredith Bay Marina is seeking a dependable, detail oriented, and experienced Full Time Year Round Accountant to join our growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast paced business environment, values organization, and can confidently manage the financial operations of a busy marina, retail store, service department, and seasonal rental business.
We are looking for a motivated professional who can work independently, maintain accuracy under pressure, and become an essential part of our year round administrative team.

Responsibilities Include
- Managing all accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Processing customer payments, vendor payments, and deposits
- Reconciling bank statements, credit card statements, and financing accounts
- Preparing monthly financial reports and maintaining accurate general ledger entries
- Managing payroll processing and payroll reporting
- Handling sales tax filings and year end tax preparation assistance
- Tracking inventory financials, service billing, and rental income
- Monitoring customer account balances and collections
- Assisting with budgeting, expense analysis, and financial forecasting
- Working closely with management on business reporting and financial planning
- Maintaining organized financial records and confidential files
- Assisting with office administrative duties as needed
Qualifications
- Previous accounting or bookkeeping experience required
- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Office preferred
- Excellent understanding of accounts payable, receivable, reconciliations, and payroll
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and problem solving skills
- Professional, trustworthy, and self motivated
- Experience in marine, retail, or service industries is a plus
