The Temporary HR Special Projects Assistant provides short-term administrative and project support to the Human Resources department for assigned initiatives with defined timelines and deliverables. This temporary assignment is intended to assist with special projects such as research, reporting, data review, process improvement, documentation, compliance support, and coordination of project-related activities. The individual in this role will help organize information, maintain project materials, track progress, and support the successful completion of department priorities. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to manage multiple tasks while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with special HR projects by helping plan, organize, track, and support initiatives from start to completion.
- Prepare project materials such as trackers, spreadsheets, reports, presentations, meeting notes, and status updates for the HR team.
- Help maintain employee records, HR databases, and project files while ensuring data accuracy, confidentiality, and timely updates.
- Collaborate with HR team members and other departments to support project timelines, communication, and completion of assigned tasks.
Qualifications
- Experience providing administrative, project, or clerical support in an office environment preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in a team environment.
Work Environment and Assignment Details
